Amanda graduated with a Master of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Massachusetts in 2008. She is licensed in Massachusetts and holds a certification from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. Before her tenure at New England Speech and Language Associates, LLC, she gained experience working with both adult and pediatric populations in acute, subacute, rehabilitation and public school settings. Amanda possesses extensive expertise in delivering specialized treatment for individuals coping with language based disorders, Autism, stuttering, as well as apraxia of speech, positioning her as a highly sought-after professional in her discipline.

Dr. Laurie Cournoyer

Laurie graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2004 with a Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology. She proudly holds a certificate of competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in Massachusetts. With over 19 years of diverse experience across acute, subacute, and outpatient settings, Laurie has not only shared her knowledge as an instructor at Springfield College, but also worked in early intervention centers and within the public school setting. In August 2024, Laurie recently earned a clinical doctorate in speech-language pathology from MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Bianca Noe

Bianca is from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Speech/Language and Hearing Disorders from Estacio de Sa University in 1998 and her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from UMass-Amherst in 2008. Bianca specializes in addressing severe speech sound disorders and orofacial myofunctional disorders. Her professional practice encompasses serving monolingual and bilingual (Portuguese) populations, primarily within an urban school setting, and through her work at New England Speech and Language Associates, LLC. Bianca holds a certification through the American Speech/Hearing Association and is licensed in Massachusetts.

Nancy Schaeffer

Nancy is a nationally certified and locally licensed Speech & Language Pathologist who values a client-centered approach. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts and her Master of Science in Speech & Language Pathology from the University of South Carolina. She has over 8 years experience working in the Public School setting with Preschool through to Middle school students. She has received further training across multiple settings to include acute and subacute care. Nancy is passionate about growing as a clinician in the use of neurodiversity affirming and trauma informed practices. She believes that forming connections is an essential foundation to her practice.

Juli graduated from Salem State University in 2019 with her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. She went on to gain her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology at Emerson College in 2022. She is licensed in Massachusetts and holds a certification from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. She has over 10 years working with children as an early childhood teacher and enjoys working with children of all ages. Juli is passionate about building strong connections with clients and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes for their speech and language skills.

Alisha Vale

Alisha is from Cambridge, England. She gained her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Essex, UK in 2023. Alisha was licensed as a Speech Therapist in the UK and has experience in working with neurodiverse children of all ages. Before her move to Massachusetts, Alisha worked for the National Health Service, providing therapy in clinics and school settings. Alisha particularly enjoys play-based therapy to work on improving skills in a way that is fun and engaging for children. She is licensed in Massachusetts.
